A local service for local people

Developing the range of services for the community and residents of Sefton, the Active Seflogo-active-seftonton team have partnered with NHS Sefton to create an online presence on the newly developed “Looking Local” website.

Designed by NHS Sefton to promote access to health services and promote health and wellbeing in Sefton, the Active Sefton team now have healthy living and leisure information posted on the website and television service. Through this partnership the team hope to augment the extensive range of healthily living services detailed on the website and provide additional information about healthy living programmes including free swimming, free adult and child activities, healthy eating programmes which are available free of charge to Sefton residents.

Commenting on the partnership, Andy Wiggans, Principal Development Manager for Active Sefton recognised the impact the service could have for Sefton residents,

“We are very proud of our relationship with NHS Sefton and are pleased that we are able to move forward in developing this service offered to Sefton residents. The website is an excellent idea and offers residents essential information on local services to help them improve their health and lead an active lifestyle.”
