Active Workforce Stepometer Challenge - The Results

The Active Workforce Stepometer Challenge has now finished! It started 28^th September and finished on the 13^th December 2009.

Monthly prizes were awarded to 3 teams each month based on teams increasing the amount of steps each month compared to their baseline data.

This time round the competition was much fiercer than last times as there was no out and out leader, with the leader changing hands each month.

1^st place – whose gonna stomp on you again (Sefton MBC, Parks) – collectively walked 2264 miles, 5977268 steps, travelling to Damanhur in Eqypt

2^nd place – we have no shame (Sefton MBC, ) – collectively walked 2233 miles, 5897475 steps, travelling to Nicosia, Cyprus.

3^rd place – legs of man (Aintree Nhs, Wheelchair centre) – collectively walking 2221 miles, 5865798 steps, travelling to Paphos, Greece.

Finishing 7^th overall and first out of the Avarto teams Stepping up to the plate (Avarto) – collectively walking 1815 miles, 4793273 steps, travelling to In Salah, Algeria

Finishing 8^th overall and first out of the NHS Sefton teams Jurassic Sports (NHS Sefton) – collectively walking 1733 miles, 4577052 steps, travelling to Istanbual, Turkey

Finishing 10^th overall and first out of the CVS teams The Step ground (CVS) – collectively walking 1612 miles, 4255894 steps, travelling to Agadis, Morrocco.
