Smoking is known to be the principle avoidable cause of premature deaths in the UK.
There are 4000 chemicals in a single cigarette, 60 of which are known to cause cancers. On average a 10-a-day smoker will spend £1066.52 year on smoking over 20 years that is £21,330.40.
