Meadows leisure center is the eighth edition to the Sefton Leisure Services portfolio of leisure centres. Now open to the public the new £8.2 million project has been named “Meadows” due to its location in the area of the borough known locally as “Meadows”.

Designed by GLR and constructed by Allenbuild, the new leisure development is a partnership between Sefton and Maghull Town Council and will be located to the rear of the existing Town Hall making use of vacant space which is currently under utilised.

Consisting of two swimming pools, a library, IT Suite, state of the art fitness suite, aerobics studio, sauna/steam suite and meeting rooms, the new centre and library facility is designed to offer a host of leisure pursuits for residents of Sefton to enjoy.

Designed to be fully accessible for people with disabilities, the range of programmes available at the centre are available to encourage all sections of community to make use of the centre.
