Litherland Sports Park

Litherland Sports Park is one of the first facilities in the country to offer an innovative scheme to house cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation NHS services relocated from Aintree Hospital.

LSP is a well-used and much-loved facility which has become a focal point for the community of Litherland. The Centre is home to a number of Football teams along with a Football Academy, the Sefton Cycling Academy, Athletic Clubs  and Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation NHS Service.

LSP is home to a 400m, six-lane athletics track with a centre arena, floodlit synthetic turf pitch, adult and junior grass football pitches and training pitches with team changing/shower rooms. Also at Litherland is our incredible Active Sefton fitness suite, superb changing facilities, a training room, meeting and conference facilities, an activity studio, GP referral and health consultation suites and a computerised personal health & fitness monitoring system called ‘Fitlinxx’.
